It's hard to beleive that the season is almost over!! The end seems to have come quickly this year, maybe becauase I missed so many races this year. Well before I go on too much more I want to take a moment to congratulate some of our closest friends...
We want to send a huge CONGRATS out to our buddy Tommy D (Tom Dusen) on clinching his first Late Model Championship at Crystal Motor Speedway (MI)!!!!! Tom, you are an amazing driver and friend, words just can't fully express how happy we are for you! You have fought for this honor for so long and have had so many heartbreaks and close calls along the way. You worked your azz off this year for it and finally grabbed that trophy. Enjoy your walk of fame up to get that trophy at the banquet you earned it, you worked for it, and you flat out raced your azz off for it! You know I couldn't put anything out here without saying.... (as Jimmy loves to remind you) Jimmy used to watch you race when he was just a little kid, in your awesome blue Pepsi car. You were one of his favorite drivers then and your one of his favorites drivers still Tom, we are honored to be able to call you a friend!
CONGRATS buddy it's about dang time you got that trophy! As my nephew Conner says (yeah Tom he still says it), "That's the famous Tom Dusen"! LOL! CONGRATS buddy CONGRATS!!!!
We want to send another CONGRATS out to Mean Dean Huizenga on his 4th place points finish in the Late Model class at Crystal Motor Speedway (MI) this year!!! Congrats buddy on your best Late Model season to date! After the year you had last year, you bounded back with a vengance. You got that Lazer hooked up at Crystal and you rocked it all season long. CONGRATS buddy you had a hell of a season, can't wait too see what next year brings you!!!
Two Bernheisel Lazers taking 1st and 4th in points at Crystal Motor Speedway. AWESOME year guys, and thanks for taking the chance on the "new to Michigan" Lazers! CONGRATS to both of Tommy and Dean on their points finishes!
As most championships are finished or wrapping up that means the season is winding down and it's time for the end of the year shows. For us August was a pretty decent month, the boyz ran the Andy Stebbins owned Rayburn for most of the month. Thanks again Andy for your support and for stepping in when we needed it! We got the big motor fixed and back in the Lazer last weekend, so it came out from under it's cover and went back into the garage. We got the Lazer back on the track Saturday, August 28th, at I-96 Speedway (MI).
We are excited to finish out the year with the Lazer. I don't have any type of schedule for the end of the year shows the guys are planning on (no big surprise there). They are only planning on racing 2 or 3 so we'll see where we end up. I hope everyone had a fun season, enjoy the end of the year shows! We hope to see some friends and catch up with people before the long "off season" begins.
Good luck, with the remainder of the season and we'll see you at the races, and as always... race safe!
